My second draft poster idea |
I prefer this draft much more to my first one as it looks more professional and I've thought more about each action I've taken on Photoshop. Here are a few points as to why I prefer this draft design:
- The use of the Red Title and matching logo on his gloves stands out very clearly and suggests danger.
- The image Isaac took of James is very effective as James/Mr X is completely un-identifiable. The fact James is in his Motorbike Leathers and Helmet - very little about the film is given away creating the ambiguity we wanted to achieve.
- The Low Angle makes James looks very domineering and quite threatening.
- The Black and White image further makes it look mysterious.
- The picture of James putting the package in his jacket will make the audience curious as to what the transaction is about.
Creating the Poster on Photoshop |
I think this is good Carla, and I suggest we discuss further which poster to submit finally after half term.
ReplyDeleteI do think you would be better advised to work on improving this design rather than the one you have posted as the final design. Although I think the title is still too small here, and you shouldn't feel it can't go over the edges of the body. Why not move the title to the top? Could you either drop the image slightly, or if you have nothing to play with here, why not experiment with having the title across the top of his helmet? You'd need to add ratings, reviews and check the billing block again, but this is all feasible in the time left. It depends how much effort you're prepared to make.
