We have now finished the sound editing through using Garageband. In garageband we have put in both diegetic and non-diegetic sounds and we now plan to only export the sound track to place it back into Final Cut Pro so we can do the final render to the best quality, if we did it through Garageband it would only export the movie as the quicktime conversion that we first rendered from Final Cut Pro to place into Garageband.
Here is a screenshot of our final project file in Garageband.
Is this really all you can say about sound editing? This is a lengthy process, as you well know, with many stages and decisions to be made. You don't discuss nearly enough of the detail here, and this is not of pass standard at A2. Again, comments are needed from all of you on this process, and the same for the vision editing. What about sound and vision together? These are not separate processes, but as you know, require careful integration. You don't discuss aims, methods, meaning production, styles of sound, sources etc etc. Very disappointing work.
